Individuals must be 18 or older to obtain a marriage license and at least 16 with parental consent. A medical exam is not required; however, there is a one-day waiting period. Once issued, the license is valid for 60 days. The license must be obtained in the town of the bride’s residence. Non-residents must obtain a license in the town where they will be married. As the cost varies, contact your County Clerk’s office for specific information.
